Remind followers who you are
It’s a good idea to share an introductory post on Instagram every six months or so – re-engage your old followers, and connect more deeply with your new followers. This is a great use for your new headshot – after all, a new headshot is a visual representation of your personal brand as it is right now, a way to refresh your online presence, and a powerful tool to connect with your audience. Use it to introduce yourself!
Use your new headshot to create an engaging Instagram post that will help you connect with your audience and grow your following.

Writing your caption
- Introduce Yourself: Briefly reintroduce yourself, especially if you’ve recently rebranded or changed your focus.
- Share a Personal Story: Connect with your audience on a deeper level by sharing a personal anecdote related to your new headshot.
- Ask a Question: Encourage engagement by asking a question related to your headshot or your brand.
- Use a Call to Action: Whether it’s to follow you, like your post, or comment, a strong CTA can boost engagement.
