About This Headshot Session
Sophie Fenton specialises in Corporate Graphic Design. She loves colour and the outdoors, so we opted to take the photographs in her garden – where she often works at her brightly coloured garden table. What a dreamy workspace!
The goal was for the photos to show Sophie as approachable, professional and creative. I photographed her with her notebook, planning client projects, as well as videoing her with the tools of her trade and leafing through her favourite design books.
Working with Louise was a delightful experience from start to finish. As someone who has always been self-conscious in front of the camera, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Louise has a real talent for making you feel completely at ease.
Louise provided incredibly helpful advice and pointers in advance, including suggestions for props, hair, and makeup, which I think made a significant difference in the final results. The range of photography she delivered was outstanding and I feel her images have added great value to my own brand deck and overall offering.
I would highly recommend Louise Rose Photography to anyone in need of a personal approach and brand enhancement. Her ability to capture the essence of who you are, while making the process enjoyable is unique.”

Contemporary headshots
Would you like to look like yourself, but your best version? And to quietly stand out from the crowd with some gently creative photographs?
Why Graphic Designers Need Contemporary Headshots
In the fast-paced, visually-driven world of graphic design, your personal brand is a valuable asset. And a key part of that brand is your image. A contemporary personal brand photo is more than just a headshot; it’s a visual representation of your creative spirit and professionalism.
Your headshots should:
- Reflect Your Design Aesthetic: Your photo should align with your design style. Are you minimalist, bold, or eclectic? Your image should reflect that.
- Build Trust and Credibility: A professional, contemporary photo conveys confidence and expertise.
- Attract Your Ideal Clients: Your image might well be the first impression potential clients have of you. Make sure it resonates with them, and aligns with their expectations.
- Enhance Your Online Presence: A strong personal brand photo is essential for social media and your website.
Your personal brand photo is a powerful tool for graphic designers. It’s an opportunity to showcase your creativity, professionalism, and personality. Remember, first impressions matter, and your profile photo is often your first impression.
