About This Headshot Session
Holly is a therapist, and contacted me because she needed some new photos and video content for her website and social profiles.
She provides Counselling, therapy and Psychotherapy, so we decided to include a range of headshots as well as photos showing a client consultation. These are a great way for people to imagine what it’d be like to have a session with you, they can imagine themselves more easily sitting on that chair when they see someone else sitting in it.
Holly is a warm and compassionate person, and we wanted the photo and video content to show her as a grounded and authentic person. The goal was for the photos to show that Holly is easy to talk to, and that she creates a safe space that allows the client to explore their issues alongside, and in partnership with, the therapist.
I loved the experience – Louise made the whole thing so smooth, but also she has a lovely, calm vibe where I didn’t feel in a rush. I’m a newly qualified therapist and setting up in private practice, so I needed some headshots for my online profile. I was nervous about what to wear and how I’d look in the photographs as I’m not that photogenic – Louise has a great prep guide which really helped with this. I feel she really captures the personality of the person and I loved the action shots, like having a pretend client consult both in-person and online. The impact of the photos has been great as my potential clients could have more of an understanding of what a therapy session with me would be like, rather than just seeing a headshot of me. I enjoyed the whole experience so much – Louise made the whole experience really enjoyable, and the photos are fab!
